Configuring the Campaign-Experience Manager integration configuration-aem
This integration between ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign Standard and ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager allows you to use content created in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager in your ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign emails.
With this use case you will learn how to create and manage email contents in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager, then use them for your marketing campaigns by importing them in your emails into ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign Standard.
Prerequisites prerequisites
You should make sure you have the following elements beforehand:
- An ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager authoring instance
- An ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager publishing instance
- An ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign instance
Configuration in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign Standard config-acs
To use these two solutions together, you must configure them to connect to one another.
To configure ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign:

You first need to configure the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager instance external account under Administration > Application settings > External accounts menu.

Configure the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager type external account with your Server URL, Account and Password.

Check that the AEMResourceTypeFilter option has been correctly configured. Access the Options menu under Administration > Application settings > Options menu.

In the Value (text) field, check that the following syntax is correct:
code language-none mcm/campaign/components/newsletter,mcm/campaign/components/campaign_newsletterpage,mcm/neolane/components/newsletter

Then, in the advanced menu under Resources > Templates > Delivery templates, duplicate one of the existing templates to create an email template specific to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager.

Click the Edit properties icon.

Under the Content drop-down, select ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager in the Content source field then your previously created external account in the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager account.
You now need to configure the integration in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager.
Configuration in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager config-aem
To configure ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager with ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign Standard, you must follow these steps:

You first need to configure the replication between the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager authoring and publishing instances. Refer to this section.

Then, connect ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager to ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Campaign by configuring a dedicated Cloud Service. Refer to this section.
