Jumpstart creative ideation
Learn how to get a head start on developing creative content for a marketing campaign. In this workflow, a brand product manager starts a new project in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Express and creates pages for teams to drop their ideas, images, and thoughts to brainstorm and share with others. The team members simultaneously edit in real-time adding their images and ideas. Each team member uses a combination of pre-existing brand assets in CC Libraries and Text to image to communicate ideas. Designers add prototypes designed in Creative Cloud apps into the board that are linked and updated automatically as they create new revisions.

In this demo, we’re going to see how ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Firefly and Express help supercharge ideation and collaboration for marketing campaigns. Our organization is a consumer goods company that is launching a new soda product. However, the marketing team is distributed in different countries, making it difficult to collaborate globally. This results in costly campaign delays and missed marketing moments. Content marketing and brand marketing needs to collaborate together to agree on a new direction for the campaign and must not only stand out but launch in less than two weeks. Here we have a creative brief that was built. The campaign is targeted towards athletic outdoor enthusiasts interested in hiking and skiing in alpine regions. Our brand marketing team has been tasked with brainstorming some ideas. These ideas could inform and then be given to our design teams and photographers to better articulate the composition that we’re looking for. ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Firefly and Express helps you ideate and create as a team. The tools are simple to use to visually communicate your ideas with words. We’re going to use text to image, which allows us to create images based on text prompt. Our creative brief mentioned our audience is hikers in the Alps. So let’s start with something aspirational such as hiking mountains in Alps. We can see instantly a number of the results that are provided. Now we can also customize our results so we can change our aspect ratio or change whether we want it to be a photo or art based as well as apply themes like whether we want it to be a comic book style or things like that. All ways for us to be able to better communicate our idea of what we want to visualize. I may also want to explore the color and tone which can entirely change the mood of my image. For this we’re looking for something more vibrant. We can even change things like lighting. Maybe we want our image to be shot during golden hour. We can also change the composition whether you want it to be a blurry background, a close-up, or a wide angle. Each of these are tags that augment your text prompt to better inform the image that you’re looking for. These images are starting capture the mood that we want and we want to also add a couple more things. So let’s add a lake and blue skies. If we like the direction the image is going we can also select that image as a reference so that we can adjust our prompt and it’ll be influenced by that image. This is giving us a clearer idea of the vision for our campaign. If we want to quickly mock up this image further I can open it up in ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Express. With ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Express I can invite my colleagues to collaborate in real time so they can add their ideas to the layout. In Express we can access our brands and libraries so that we can access cans, logos, fonts, and other graphics to incorporate them into our composition. Express also supports co-editing so my colleagues around the world can edit and collaborate on this in real time and I can see where they’re working. We can also leave comments to provide feedback. In just a few minutes we can see we’re able to bring our ideas to life, collaborate with our colleagues, and get closer to the vision of our campaign much faster.
