You can easily track which documents are out for signature, signed, or waiting for your signature in a single secure location with Acrobat DC. To track any document, select All Agreements on the home screen. Here, you see a blue button to open ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Sign. And when you select this, the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Sign Manage page is displayed in a new browser window. On the left rail, you’ll see a list of all the transactions you’ve been involved with like those documents that are currently in progress, waiting for your signature which is what is open here, drafts and completed agreements. You can use the filter to find transactions by date range. When you select a document, I’ll open one that is currently in progress, a right-hand pane opens, and the actions that appear here change depending on the status of your document. For this in-progress document, we can see that zero out of two signatures have been completed. At the top of the right pane, you see the name, expiration date which you can modify using the pencil icon, status message and anyone that was CC’d. Underneath the Actions section, you can open, send a reminder, cancel, download and download an audit report. You can also hide from view, share, add notes, download individual files like if more than one file was sent for signature, and upload a signed document if someone has sent you a signed agreement outside of ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Sign. Let’s select a completed document from the list on the left to see what you can manage about the transaction. When you select download PDF, and then open the file in Acrobat, the blue bar at the top of the document shows that the signed document was certified by ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Sign. When you select on the Signature Panel, you can view additional detail like the source of trust and audit log history for this signed document.
Back in the Manage view, at the top of the right-hand pane, you’ll see the name, date, status and anyone that was CC’d just like we saw for the other in-progress document. Also notice that you can expire this document that’s because the transaction is already complete. There are also fewer actions to perform because the transaction is complete. One thing you can do is view an audit report. These reports give you valuable insight on your transaction. When you open the report in Acrobat, you can see when and who created the document, who completed it, exactly when it was signed, and the authentication method which is a very valuable legal history of the transaction. Back in the Manage view below the Actions is a list of everyone that has received the document and below that is a chain view of all the activity that has taken place for a particular document.
Tracking the status of documents that you sent for signature is easy because all the details are captured in one secure location online with Acrobat DC. -
