To begin utilizing ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager Assets Essentials, or access the previously uploaded assets, you need to assign users to the appropriate product profiles.

- ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Experience Manager Assets Essentials
Issue/Symptoms
- Access denied in AEM Assets Essentials.
- Uploaded images appear invisible or folders seem empty.
- Upload process completes without errors, but assets are not accessible.
Resolution resolution
Request the system administrator to add or change user profiles in the following product profiles:
- Assets Essentials Consumer Users
- Assets Essentials Users
For detailed steps, refer to Add user groups to product profiles in the Administer Assets Essentials and add users guide.
Note: Add a user to a profile from the Users tab, not from the Admins tab. The latter only allows the user to edit the profile in the Admin console, but doesn’t allow access to Assets Essentials.
