ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ introduces a desktop application for Dynamic Media Classic that provides a similar experience to a browser and a functionally equivalent interface that does not depend on ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Flash player.

Hi there. In this video, let me walk you through - the desktop application for Dynamic Media Classic users. The web UI for Dynamic Media - Classic uses ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Flash Player and will be deprecated by December, 2020. Dynamic Media desktop application delivers a similar user - experience as the web UI offers, and is available for - Windows and Mac users. Please make sure the - operating system’s version is compactible before installing - the desktop application. For this video, let’s download the disc image file for Mac from the public documentation page. Double click that disc image file to begin the installation process. Drag drop the Dynamic Media application onto the System Application’s folder and continue with the - installation process. For windows, run the installer binary and follow the onscreen instructions to install the desktop application. Once you have successfully - installed the application, let’s launch the desktop application and you will be provided with the new ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Dynamic - Media Classic sign-in screen. Let’s log into your account - by providing a user name and a password. If your account is associated with multiple server locations, you can choose to decide location - using the server dropdown and then click to continue. You can also select between a staging or a production environment. Note that, credentials used for logging inside a desktop application are the same as those you used for web UI Dynamic Media Classic login. Once logged in, you can view the Dynamic - Media Classic web UI. Dynamic Media desktop application provides a familiar - experience to a browser as you’re used to and a - functionally equivalent interface that does not depend on Flash. Within the application, you can view all the media - files available on your web UI. To switch to a different - dynamic media company associated with your account, select the company from the top dropdown. After choosing the company, you might be asked to - restart your application and then log in with your credentials. You should now be able - to view the media files associated with your - dynamic media company. You can modify your application or personalize your configuration within the Dynamic Media - Classic desktop application, and perform all operations - that you currently can perform on a dynamic media web UI. Dynamic Media Classic - users now have access to a new desktop application experience that no longer relies on ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Flash technology in the browser. -
NOTE
We recommend that you install the new ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Dynamic Media Classic desktop app by October 1, 2020. Doing so will ensure you have a smooth transition before ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Flash Player is deprecated on December 31, 2020. On that date, you will no longer be able to log on to the browser version of ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Dynamic Media Classic user interface, labeled as Scene7 Publishing System in the product.
