You can set up conversation SDK in four simple steps. First, configure the look and feel of the pop-up that you’re seeing. Go to your dynamic chat instance, and on the left you will see conversational forms settings. Here you can set up all the colors that match your brand and set up the look and feel of the pop-up that will show up. You can also define the heading. You can also define the title of the pop-up that you’ll be shown to the visitor. Make the changes as necessary and hit save. First step is done. Second, add your domain where you want to install and trigger these kind of flows to your visitors. In your dynamic chat instance, you will see security settings. Then go to alert domains. And then add your domain where you want to install the conversations SDK. Next, create the conversational form flow that you want to trigger. I have a dummy landing page and I want to allow visitors to download a document when they click on the CTA. When the visitor clicks on this, I would ask for their contact details like email and then allow them to download the document. This way I generate more leads. It’s a simple use case. Let’s see how we can implement this. So go back to your dynamic chat instance. Go to conversational forms. And click create conversational form. You can select any of the templates. I’m going for a blank conversational form. So this is for generating new leads. Hit create. Just like dialogues, you have a canvas where you can design the flow. I’ll start with a message. I would give a quick introduction about the document. I’ve added the text and hitting save. Next, before I provide the document, I would like to capture their email address. So I would add info capture. Select email address. Please provide your… I’ve added the details. Hit save. Now I can add a document that I want to share with the visitor. I can select from the existing document or add a new document. I’m just for now selecting an existing document. Save. That’s it. Here I have a simple flow where I’ve introduced about the document, captured their email address, and allowed the visitor to download the document. Awesome. Let’s publish this flow. Now the last step. Now the last step. Installation. I’m going to show you the steps needed to install this on a marketer landing page, but the process would be very similar if you want to install it on any of the landing pages that you have created. Let’s go to your marketer instance. This is my landing page asset. Let me go to create draft. You have to ensure that you have the dynamic chat. JavaScript is installed on this landing page. You can get the JavaScript from chatbot settings, installation, and this is the JavaScript snippet. Ensure that this is installed. So I’m going to this. For now, I’m adding the JavaScript into the meta tags, but ideally we should install it below the body. I’ve added the snippet. Next, to trigger the conversational flow, you need to add one more snippet. Now you can see there’s a new option called conversation trigger. If you want this flow to be triggered when a visitor clicks on a link on your web page, then simply copy this hash. In the hreff, simply paste the hash that you copied. And then let’s approve and close this. Now when I come back to the landing page and hit download now, you can see the flow has started. It says document covers the key insights of marketing automation and click next to get your copy. Awesome. And hit next, it’s asking me for my email address, nickatloma.com, and hit next. And I have my document that I can download now. I can click here and the document opens right here. What’s more interesting? All the engagements of your visitor on this document will also be captured. If visitor has opened the document, did they search any keywords, did they download the document, so on and so forth. All of that engagement will be available in Marketo against this lead. And you can leverage the existing triggers and filters of interacting with the document to re-target them further. That’s it. In just four steps, you can install your conversation SDK and drive more engagement beyond the chatbot. Thank you.
